Authorities have captured 10 crocodiles over the last five days, with two already released back into the wild. The remaining reptiles will be released once the river’s water level recedes.The situation in Vadodara is dire, with the city among the worst affected by the floods.

Electricity connections have been severely disrupted, leaving around 1,000 villages without power. In response to the disaster, local authorities have relocated more than 32,000 people from rain-hit areas and rescued around 1,200 individuals from flood-affected zones.
