Eid ul Fitr 2025 Confirmed for March 31, in Pakistan After Shawwal Moon Sighting

The crescent moon marking the end of Ramadan has been sighted in Pakistan, signifying that Eid ul Fitr 2025 will be celebrated on Monday, March 31,across all over in Sindh Pakistan and other Provinces.

Eid-ul-Fitr, often referred to as the “Festival of Breaking the Fast,” is a significant occasion in the Islamic calendar. It marks the conclusion of a month-long period of fasting, prayer, and reflection. The festival is characterized by communal prayers, charitable giving, festive meals, and the exchange of greetings among family and friends.

In Pakistan, the sighting of the moon is traditionally confirmed by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which convenes to observe the lunar cycle and announce the commencement of Islamic months. This year, their observations have aligned with astronomical assessments indicating a high likelihood of the Shawwal crescent moon being visible on the evening of Sunday, March 30.

As we prepare to celebrate Eid tomorrow, it’s a time to embrace the values of compassion, unity, and gratitude that Ramadan instills. May this Eid bring joy, peace, and prosperity to all. **Eid Mubarak! to all the Muslims of Pakistan and beyond worldwide.
